الجنس والوسائل الداعمة للنقد: أدلة من مجتمعات متكلمة للهجة العربية-العراقية واللغة الماليزية

تهدف الدراسة الى كشف التشابهات والاختلافات بين متعلمين جامعيين عراقيين وماليزيين مع أجناسهم في أداء الوسائل الداعمة للنقد. لتحقيق هذا الهدف شارك ثلاثون عراقياً وثلاثون ماليزياً في هذه الدراسه وتم أداء اختبار اكمال النص ومقابلة المجموعة للحصول على اجابات من المشاركين. عُدل تصنيف نوين (2005) للوسائل الداعمة للنقد لغرض ترميز البيانات. وحُللت البيانات وصفيا وكميا. كشفت النتائج بشكل عام ان المجموعتين تستعملان الوسائل الداعمة نفسها لكن العراقيين يأدون وسائل اكثر من الماليزيين في نقدهم. على الرغم من أنّ كلا الاناث والذكور لكلا المجموعتين يستعملون اصنافاً مشابهة من الوسائل الداعمة فأنهم يختلفون في تفضيلهم لأنواع خاصة. وتُفضل ألاناث العراقيات والماليزيات أكثر من الرجال في تأدية ألوسائل الداعمة في النقد. واخيرا توفر الدراسة بعض المضامين التربوية لمدرسي اللغة الانجليزية بوصفها لغة ثانية واجنبية.
