Our research tagged (The central signification and the marginal signification in the Syriac language) dealt with the most important linguistic investigations in which the semantic lesson was concerned, which is the study of semantic divisions and types of meaning. Arabic, knowledge of its semantics, the development that occurred in it, the most important manifestations of this development, and the reasons that led to the occurrence of semantic development over time. We chose this topic because of the importance of the semantic study in linguistic studies because it aims to reveal the truth about meaning in human languages and knowledge of linguistic laws.
